The New York District and Key ClubInternational provides many opportunities for members and clubs to berecognized for outstanding leadership and service.

The 2010-2011 New York District Awards Booklet for this key club year has not been made yet but the links and files provided are from last year.


Distinguished Key Clubber Award

The Distinguished Key Clubber Awardis a non-competitive award given each year to every deserving Key Clubmember and officer who complete the necessary criteria set forth by theNew York District Distinguished Key Clubber Committee and the New YorkDistrict Board, and has performed above and beyond the duties as a KeyClubber to serving his/her home, school, and community.

TheDistinguished Key Clubber (DKC) form will be included in the AwardsBooklet available in the fall, but meanwhile, please download the DKC Early Checklistbelow.  This file lists the tentative criteria for this award so KeyClubbers can get a head start on meeting the requirements for thisaward.

The Governor’s Award

TheGovernor’s Award is an incentive program developed and administered byGovernor Allen Yu.  This is a non-competitive award, and is distributedby season on a rolling basis.  (Specifically, July-September,September-November, November-February)

Every time the criteriais met, the club will receive a certificate and a letter from GovernorAllen congratulating the club for its achievement.  The awards will begiven to your Lieutenant Governor at a District Board Meeting, andhe/she will present the award to your club.  Here are the two awards:

Governor’s Outstanding Service Award

Byhaving a member or officer submit a “Service Spotlight” article, theclub has fulfilled the requirement to receive this award.  Please clickthe Service Spotlight Submission file below andfollow the directions to submit articles and pictures.  Each club canreceive a maximum of one (1) “Outstanding Service Award” per season.

Governor’s Perfect Paperwork Award

Anyclub that submits an Elections Report Form, all the Monthly ReportForms, and a Lt.
